Aanand L Rai heads to Australia for a vacation

The Bollywood film-maker is set to go on a family vacation

Film-maker Aanand L Rai has had a busy few months. Instead of taking a break after the release of his recent production, which was directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwary, he immediately donned the producer’s hat again for Mudassar Aziz’s upcoming film. He also had to take a stern stand for another one of his production ventures — which stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar — in order to replace the director of the movie. Now, however, the film-maker is ready to take a break. He will soon head to Australia with his wife and daughter for a family vacation.

An insider says, “He will be there for two weeks, and will visit several cities. He has also promised his family that he will keep his mobile phone away, so that he can spend quality time with them.”

Once he is back, Aanand will start working on his next directorial venture. Rumour has it that Shah Rukh Khan will play a dwarf in the film.
