Kim Jong Un Appears With Daughter at North Korea War Anniversary

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and his daughter, Ju Ae, attended a concert and commemorative events marking the 73rd anniversary of the Korean War armistice. State-run television KRT aired footage showing Ju Ae seated beside Kim at the centre of the ceremony, further fueling speculation about her growing public role. Kim also attended a military parade marking what North Korea calls its "Victory Day." South Korea's National Intelligence Service has previously said it believes Ju Ae is being positioned as Kim's likely successor. The Korean War ended in an armistice in 1953, with no formal peace treaty ever signed.
