Abhishek Kapoor to rock on for Ekta

Director Abhishek Kapoor, who shot to fame with Rock On(2008),will soon be wielding the megaphone for Ekta Kapoor.

Abhishek established himself as a director with Farhan Akhtar starrer Rock On, that won awards in several categories including best film, director, debut actor and actress awards. There is a buzz in B-town that Abhishek will be making an intense love story for Ekta Kapoor’s home production Balaji Motion Pictures. “Yes, he(Abhishek Kapoor) would be directing a film for us. But it is too early to talk about anything. Things are at a nascent stage, nothing has been finalised yet as to what project it will be. Both the parties are keen on working with each other,” said Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures.

Abhishek, who adapted Chetan Bhagat’s book, 3 Mistakes of My Life, for his big screen venture Kai Po Che, is presently giving final touches to the film.
