Amitabh Bachchan, SRK express solidarity with earthquake victims

A massive 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck east of Pokhara in Nepal on Saturday, causing widespread damage in Kathmandu. While actor Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar tweeted emergency numbers for Nepal, actors Manoj Bajpayee, Aftab Shivdasani and Sonu Sood and several others sent out their prayers for the victims.

A massive 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck east of Pokhara in Nepal on Saturday, causing widespread damage in the capital Kathmandu and injuring dozens across the country. At least two people were killed.

Tremors were also felt in north and east India. The tremors were felt in most cities, including Delhi, Guwahati, Patna, Ranchi, Kolkata and Jaipur.



Twitterati, including celebs, immediately extended their support to the victims.



While actor Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar tweeted emergency numbers for Nepal, actors Manoj Bajpayee, Aftab Shivdasani and Sonu Sood sent out their prayers for the victims.
