Actor Arshad Warsi, 43, who worked as a choreographer for stage shows, before entering Bollywood, wants to return to his first love with a film on dance. “I have given a fabulous idea on a dance film to someone. Since I’ve been a dancer, I know what a dancer is all about. I have given an idea, a writer is doing the job now,” he says.

“If the movie has only dance-dance, it becomes boring. That’s why I haven’t done any film on dance as the scripts are all the same. It’s always like, a small-time guy works hard, becomes a dancer and wins a competition. It has to be something more than this,” says the actor, adding that he won’t direct the film. About his love for choreography, he says, “I have realised the only way for me to do choreography, is to do it for films. By choreographing one or two songs in that way, I would satisfy my greed,” says Arshad.
