Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently said in an interview that there is “extreme intolerance” in the country at present, and added that it can “lead India to the dark ages.”

Just when the debate around returning awards to protest against increasing intolerance in the country is getting fiercer by the day, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter on Wednesday to tell the world which side of divide he’s standing. Taking a dig at all those pestering him for a comment on the issue, Kapoor, a Twitter star of sorts for his irreverent and controversial posts in the past, wrote: “Yaaron! Please samjhao what is this tolerance and intolerance! Right now I cannot tolerate anybody talking about it”

He followed it with a string of more Tweets on the issue.
