There is bad news for filmbuffs. One of the most awaited releases, Shahid-Sonam starrer Mausam is not hitting theatres this Friday. The film's release date has been pushed to September 23.
Shahid Kapoor confirmed in a press conference that the film's release has been postponed to next week, "IAF had objections to one scene. We made corrections and then sent the film for review. But we could not make it on time to release international print. Now the film is ready to release on September 23."
Before the official statement was made, trade expert Taran Adarsh had tweeted, "Okay, all those asking, #Mausam is NOT releasing on 16 Sept. Pankaj Kapur, Shahid & Sonam will make an official statement at 5.30 pm today."
He further tweeted after some time, "#Mausam new date 23 September."
The movie was supposed to release simultaneously in India and abroad.
Hoping for the perfect 'Mausam' for the movie's release.
