Farhan Akhtar’s ambitious biopic on Olympian Milkha Singh, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (BMB), has really made a big mark at the box office. With the paid previews held on Thursday evening themselves making over a crore, trade experts say the movie will continue to rake in good money. Trade analyst Amod Mehra says, “BMB is doing very well. While the weekend was good, Monday saw a slight drop. But the movie has held its own and will continue to grow. Farhan has done a commendable job. However, had the duration of the film been shorter, it would have fared better.”

Trade expert Taran Adarsh too feels the movie has done a stupendous job at the box office. “The movie has done well not only in India but also managed to do remarkable business in the overseas market,” he says. Film exhibitor and distributor Akhaye Rathi concurs, “With terrific weekend figures, BMB has brought Farhan his first solo success. Judging by how it has fared over the weekend and sustained on Monday, the film should go past the finish line as quickly as the flying Sikh did in his days on the track.”
