Actor Salman Khan was seen sporting a French beard at late politician Vilasrao Deshmukh’s condolence meeting on Friday evening in Mumbai.



Rumour has it his new look might be for brother Sohail Khan’s next project, Sher Khan.



Several other Bollywood figures including Vilasrao's old friend Subhash Ghai, Pankaj Udhas, Poonam Dhillon, Suniel Shetty, Juhi Chawla, Chunky Pandey and Poonam Sinha paid their last respects to the senior Congress leader.

Other celebrities at the meet included politicians Sachin Pilot, Milind Deora and industrialist Anil Ambani with wife Tina.



Deshmukh's family members including wife Vaishali, sons Amit, Riteish, Dheeraj and daughters-in-law Aditi, Genelia, Dikshika, and brother Diliprao accepted condolences.

The prayer meet was held at the NCPA auditorium in south Mumbai.

Deshmukh passed away at a Chennai hospital on August 14 and was cremated at his village Babhalgaon in Latur district the next day.
