Amit Mehra, son of producer-director Prakash Mehra died on Saturday morning after suffering a cardiac attack. He was 40.

Amit Mehra, son of producer-director Prakash Mehra died on Saturday morning after suffering a cardiac attack. He was 40.
"Sad news producer-director Prakash Mehra's son Amit passed away today morning," a source close to the family said. Prakash' other sons are Sumeet and Puneet Mehra.
Actor Vindu Dara Singh condoled Amit's death on Twitter. "RIP Amit Mehra, son of Prakash Mehra ji too early to leave at this young age," he posted.
Amit was involved in a legal tussle with scriptwriter Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar over the remake of his father's film Zanjeer in 2013 starring Priyanka Chopra and Ram Charan.
