Gear up for a scary ride: Rajkummar Rao in Trapped teaser

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Trapped, is a survival drama of a man who is trapped inside a house for days without food and water. Rajkummar Rao plays the lead.

Actor Rajkummar Rao shared the much-awaited first look teaser of his next -- Vikramaditya Motwane’s Trapped on Monday.

Trapped is a survival drama of a man who is trapped inside a house for days without food and water.

The 41-second long teaser shows Rajkummar outside his house when he hears his phone ring and goes inside to attend to it. As he talks the phone, the main door of his apartment suddenly closes. Will this be a thriller or a horror movie? We can’t predict for now.

Trapped looks quite different from other films Motwane has made in the past -- Udaan and Lootera. This is also the first time Rajkummar and Motwane have teamed up for a film.

The film has received a standing ovation at the 18th Jio MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival in October 2016.

The first trailer of Trapped will release on Wednesday, February 22.

Trapped is slated to hit the screens on March 17.
