Apparently, Akshay is playing an intelligence officer in the film who is out to foil a terrorist plan. The film also features Rana Daggubati, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa and Taapsee Pannu.



Neeraj Pandey, also the writer of Ghalib Danger, has delivered critically and commercially successful films such as A Wednesday and Special 26 in the past. Akshay Kumar was the lead actor of Special 26.



The film is scheduled for a January 23, 2015 release.
