Recently, Ranbir had praised Kangana for her ­performance in Vikas Bahl’s Queen and had even expressed a desire to work with her. When asked if she’d want to work with him, Kangana said, “Sure, why not? I admire Ranbir’s work. He was one of the first ones to support Queen. If he wants to work with me, then it’s an honour for me. Why wouldn’t I work with him?”

However, she wouldn’t compromise on her role, even if that means letting go of the chance to work with Ranbir. “I would love to work with him. But I would want a good role also,” the 28-year-old said.

Meanwhile, Kangana is gearing up for the release of her film, in which she plays a double role. And one of those roles is that of a Haryanvi athlete. And Kangy worked hard to make the character look ­convincing. “It was very tough, especially since the character has a Haryanvi accent. I had to make the character convincing not only through my body ­language but also accent. It was very challenging for me,” she said.

In fact, she had met a lot of girls from Haryana to get the nuances and body ­language right for this Anand L Rai directorial, which also stars actors R Madhavan and Jimmy Shergill.
