I am bad at auditioning: Arshad Warsi
Dedh Ishqiya actor Arshad Warsi, who, after denying ever having auditioned in his life, responded to Mira Nair’s tweet, conceding that he did do it.
A couple of days ago, actor Arshad Warsi made news when he reportedly stated that he refused to do a film with Mira Nair because he was asked to audition for the part.

"I’ve never given an audition for a role in my career so far. I don’t know how to do it. If somebody asks me to give an audition, I get completely flustered," Arshad was quoted by PTI.
The report went on to quote the actor further: "Like Mira Nair, I love her, she is a lovely person, she called me twice and told me to audition. (But) I told her I can’t give it… she had first called me for (her film) Shantaram and for one more film. It was a Bengali detective film."
But on Tuesday (January 7) night, a tweet by Nair put Arshad in a spot. In response to a fan’s tweet, who had attached a link to Arshad’s interview in which he had denied auditioning, Nair wrote, "He (Arshad) did audition, and beautifully. One of the nicest men I’ve met. (sic)".
Despite our repeated messages and calls, Arshad refused to respond to us. But he eventually replied to Nair on Twitter, with a smiley emoticon in a tweet that said, "And you are one of the sweetest & brightest lady I have ever met & I am still bad at a uditioning (sic)".
