It’s been a busy few years for Radhika Apte, what with back-to-back releases, such as Kabali, Phobia, Parched, Badlapur and Manjhi: The Mountain Man, and, a slew of acclaimed short films - Sujoy Ghosh’s Ahalya and Shirish Kunder’s Kriti.
But amid all the exciting performances, Radhika makes time for eye-catching photoshoots and fashion spreads, where she shows off her fabulous body. Before you see her latest bold black-and-white photo that’s winning the internet, make sure there’s nothing your jaw will hit when it drops, because Radhika has never looked this stunning.
On Thursday, designer Nimish Shah shared a semi nude - steamy but aesthetically-shot - picture of Radhika on Instagram, from a photoshoot. Reports say the picture is from Radhika’s latest shoot for a clothing brand. The actor has not commented or shared any photos from the shoot yet.
Not long ago, when one of her bold scenes from her movie Parched leaked online, Radhika found herself at the receiving end of many questions. But she gracefully handled it all, saying, “If you want to look at a naked body, go look at yourself in the mirror.”
Radhika had in an earlier interview said that she has no apprehensions about going bold. She spoke about how she had been brought up watching world cinema, and had travelled a lot, so being very comfortable with her body came naturally to her.
“I have seen people performing nude on stage in India and abroad,” she said, adding, “I don’t see why I should be ashamed of my body. That’s the one tool I use as a performer. I had no apprehensions doing bold scenes. I was also sure that I was really in good hands.”
On the work front, Radhika is currently shooting with Akshay Kumar for the upcoming film PadMan.
