While filming a fight sequence for some patchwork scenes for his upcoming film Welcome Back recently, John Abraham injured himself on the sets. A source close to the actor says, “John was inthe middle of a fight sequence, which was planned in such a way that the other artiste was supposed to hit John on his shoulder. But, instead, he ended up hitting him on his head. It was a hard punch and John shrieked in pain. A doctor was called on the set immediately.”

Though no major injury was detected, John decided to go for a second opinion. “He visited his personal doctor after the day’s shoot was over, as he wanted to ensure that there were no internal head injuries,” adds the source.

When contacted, Anees Bazmee, the director of the film that also features Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar, confirmed the news.
