Mom motion poster: Sridevi returns to the screen as a fierce mother

Sridevi’s upcoming film Mom is a thriller directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda & Zee Studios. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. A R Rahman has composed the music for the film.

Just a day after Raveena Tandon introduced us to a fierce mother in the trailer of Maatr, the makers of Sridevi’s Mom have unveiled the motion poster of the film.

Sridevi last played a loving, caring mother in Gauri Shinde's English Vinglish.

Mom is a thriller directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda & Zee Studios. The film stars Sridevi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. AR Rahman has composed the music for the film.

The poster of the film was released earlier this month and the teaser has the voice over of Nawazuddin elaborating the importance and versatility of a mother’s love: "Badalte waqt me bhi nahi badalta uska pyar. Baccho ke liye phool si, dushman ke liye talwar. Lakshmi bhi wo, Saraswati, Durga aur Kali bhi. Usise ghar mein hoti hai Holi, Eid, Diwali bhi. Mamta ke hain duniya me kai naam - maa kaho, amma kaho ya kaho mom.”

With Mom, Sridevi returns to the Hindi cinema after five years - her last stint was the 2012 hit, English Vinglish.
