The actor adds, "She's always told me to be myself and not change for anyone. It used to sound very simple, but I've realised how important that advice is."

Punam, meanwhile, hails that spirit of Sona's. "When she started college and was on the heavy side, I used to wonder how as a teen, she's least bothered and not becoming conscious about her looks like any other girl her age. I used to tease her saying, 'if you don't lose weight, how will you attract good looking boys?' ... and very confidently, she would say, 'they'll be attracted to me anyway!'.
