Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Saturday, “#PyaarKaPunchnama2 takes a FLYING START. Fri Rs 6.80 cr [on 1400 screens]. India biz.”

Released in 1,400 screens all over India, critics say the film’s business will see a spurt over the weekend. Given that the film was made with a modest budget of just Rs 9 crore, already trade analysts are conjecturing that the film will break even over the weekend itself.

Pyar Ka Punchnama 2 is about three men who ‘fall in love’ with three women, and willingly suffer their whims and fancies. The film stars Omkar Kapoor, Sunny Nijjar, Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha, Sonalli Sehgal and Ishita Sharma in lead roles.
