The DN Nagar police is searching for Shera, who has been booked for causing grievous injury to a person in Andheri (West) on Wednesday. The police said the fight was the outcome of a brawl which started after Shera and the complainant abused each other.

Shera, Salman Khan’s bodyguard played a vital role during the promotions of one his films.

The incident took place at 2 am near Shitladevi corner in the DN Nagar area.

A police official said, “The cause of the fight is unclear. But Shera was abused over the phone. Shera abused him back and cut the call. After this, a fight broke out with a person who was in the vicinity. Shera threatened him with a gun and also hit him with a baseball bat. The person suffered a fracture on his collarbone.”

An FIR has been registered against Shera under section 326 and 506 of the IPC for voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapon and criminal intimidation. A police team was dispatched to trace Shera on Wednesday afternoon.
