Shahid and Alia gear up to perform Shaandaar's Gulaabo live

Actors Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor will perform the first song from their upcoming film Shaandaar live in Mumbai. The duo took to Twitter to promote the song and their highly-anticipated performance.

Actors Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will perform the first song from their new film Shaandaar, Gulaabo, live.

This will be the first time the duo will perform together live on stage, read a statement.

Shahid and Alia also tweeted the first look image of their song on Twitter. It suggests a fun mood, wherein Alia is seen wearing a tweed jacket and pants, and also a moustache!

The song will also feature Shahid's sister Sanah.

The trailer of the film, directed by Vikas Bahl of Queen fame, has already generated a lot of buzz and the audiences are now looking forward to its music.

Gulaabo, penned by Anvita Dutt, is sung by Vishal Dadlani and Anusha Mani.

The film is scheduled to release on October 22.
