Shahid Kapoor completes 14 years in Bollywood

Actor Shahid Kapoor thanked fans for all the support, as he completes 14 years in Bollywood; says aims to achieve much more.

Actor Shahid Kapoor is celebrating 14 years of his being in the film industry. The Haider actor commands a huge fan following. His image of a family man, after he got married to Mira Rajput in 2015, and when he became a father to an adorable baby girl in 2016, has only added to his charm.

Shahid Kapoor, who has completed 14 years in the industry, is busy shooting for Padmavati.

The actor tweeted on Tuesday, May 9, thanking his fans for their support and love.

Shahid, before making his film debut in 2003, was with the Shiamak Davar’s dance institute. As a student there, he appeared as a background dancer in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer film Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer Taal (1999).

His lead role in his debut film, romantic comedy Ishq Vishk, was much appreciated for its freshness. Since then, he has impressed viewers with his versatility in films such as Vivah (2006), Jab We Met (2007), Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014) and Udta Punjab (2016).

The 36-year-old is now busy shooting with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, for his upcoming magnum opus Padmavati - scheduled to release this year.

Actor Deepika Padukone will be seen in Padmavati that also stars Shahid.
