Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are shooting Batti Gul Meter Chalu in Dehradun and having the best time together.

Keeping the producers’ tussles aside, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is clearly enjoying spending time on sets of his upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. A day after sharing a ‘tongue and cheek’ picture with co-star Shraddha Kapoor, Shahid has shared yet another image in which he is seen laughing carelessly like a kid.

Shahid Kapoor is paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor in Batti Gul Meter Chalu.

Shahid shared the picture on Instagram and posted an emoji of a bulb. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet Ek Prem Katha fame, the film has been at the centre of controversies for long. First of all, the film’s shooting was stalled in April when producer Prernaa Arora allegedly failed to pay wages to the crew. Later, filmmaker Bhushan Kumar took the film under his wings and the shooting resumed.

Meanwhile, writers of the film, Sidharth Singh and Garima Wahal, have also accused Shree for copyright infringement.

Earlier, Shahid wrote on Instagram, “Tongue n cheek,” sharing a picture from behind-the-scenes shoot for the film.

Shraddha and Shahid will be shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu in Tehri and Dehradun till mid-June and move to Mumbai for the next and final schedule. Yami Gautam, who plays a lawyer in the film, will join the team in Mumbai.
