Shahid Kapoor wraps up Rangoon shoot where he plays an INA soldier

Shahid Kapoor has wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film, Rangoon which is being directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut.

Actor Shahid Kapoor has completed shooting for his upcoming period drama, Rangoon. If reports are to be believed, Shahid essays the most demanding role of his career in the film. The 35-year-old actor is re-teaming with Vishal Bhardwaj for the period drama. Incidentally, Shahid has been receiving a lot of praise for his act as a drug addict rockstar in Udta Punjab, another of his upcoming films directed by Abhishek Chaubey.

“Morning tweeps. Last day on #Rangoon trailer launch of #UdtaPunjab big day. Feeling the vibes,” he posted on Twitter on Sunday.

In Rangoon, Shahid is playing an INA soldier. Rangoon also features Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. Reports claim that Irrfan Khan will also make a cameo appearance in the film. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Rangoon is a period saga set during World War II. The film is slated to go on floors early in 2016.
