Sonam Kapoor loves Shahid Kapoor in uniform and sporting a moustache. The actor, who plays a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force, Squadron Leader Harvinder (Harry), in his father, Pankaj Kapur’s directorial debut Mausam, needed to grow a

And Sonam, who for a large part of the making of the movie always saw him with it, was horrified the day he shaved it off. “I pleaded with him to grow it back since he looked so good with a moustache,” she laughs. “Dad was dashing in a uniform and a moustache in Pukar (2000), Shahid is second only to him.”

In keeping with his on-screen image of an officer and a gentleman, Sonam insists that Shahid is a nice, well-behaved boy in real life too, and is easy to work with. However, she laughingly admits that her co-star is beginning to regret making her a friend: “He says that I nag him so much now that it would have been better had he left me alone.”
