“Comedy is out of my comfort zone but it’s good fun. My character is based on comedian Charlie Chaplin, and I have red hair and wear loud clothing in the movie,” says the 33-year-old.

While the film will release in February next year, the actor will also be seen in Midnights Children, directed by filmmaker Deepa Mehta and based on Salman Rushdie’s famous book.

Though excited about her movies, she agrees it was a tough phase for her and the family after the demise of her father, Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.

“It was the most difficult thing ever. But I look up to my mother who’s been a pillar of strength for luxury brand Louis Vuitton’s partnership project, to build SOS Children Village learning centre in Bhubaneswar".

Her elder brother and actor Saif Ali Khan is the new Nawab of Patuadi ever since.

“It was an honour bestowed upon him by the people of Pataudi and it only felt right to accept it. But in our minds, my father will remain the last Nawab of Pataudi,” says Soha.
