After a dismal start on Friday, Soorma slightly picked up on Saturday and maintained the collections on Sunday. The film earned RS 5.05 crore and RS 5.6 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Based on the real life story of former India hockey captain Sandeep Singh, Soorma is directed by Shaadi Ali and produced by Chitrangada Singh.

Meanwhile, Hollywood film Ant-Man and the Wasp snatched audiences and scored bigger than the Bollywood release of the week- Ant-Man and the Wasp collected RS 24.74 crore over the weekend.

Taran tweeted, “2018 has proved a great year for Hollywood and #AntManAndTheWasp is the latest franchise that has worked... Showed GOOD TRENDING, although growth on Day 3 was missing... Fri 5.50 cr, Sat 7 cr, Sun 6.80 cr. Total: ₹ 19.30 cr Nett BOC... Gross BOC: ₹ 24.74 cr... India biz.”
