Sumeet Vyas’ High Jack shifted yet again, to release on May 18
Initially slated to hit theatres on April 20, High Jack will now release on May 18.
Sumeet Vyas’ upcoming film High Jack has got yet another release date and is now slated to hit theatres on May 18. The film, which is a trippy ‘stoner comedy’, also stars Sonnalli Seygall. The film was initially set to release on April 20.

Producers of the film, Phantom Films, took to Twitter to share the new poster. They wrote, “The wait is over. #HighJack is coming to your favourite cinemas on 18th May.” High Jack also marks the directorial debut of Akarsh Khurana in Bollywood.
The release of Phantom Films’ next, High Jack was stayed by the CBFC a day before the release date (April 20) as the film was sent to the revision committee. High Jack was set to hit theatres on the day that is supposed to be ‘World Stoner Day’. The film is now set to hit theatres on May 18.
High Jack revolves around a bunch of first-timers trying to hijack a plane. However, everyone aboard gets high accidentally and that results in a series of funny, whacky series of events.

High Jack marks the entry of Viu into films. The film also stars Mantra, Sarthak Kakar, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Bangia, Priyanshu Painyuli and Adhaar Khurana.
