Sunny Deol, who has carved a niche for himself as a hard-hitting action hero, will soon to be seen in a romantic comedy. In his next, titled I Love NY (New Year), directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, the actor is sure to surprise his fans with acts and situations that are unexpected of him.

In one of the unexpected acts, the actor has shot an entire sequence with great comfort, wearing boxer shorts. Vinay was apprehensive to approach Sunny with the proposition of the scene, but when he told him about the shot, the actor took it up sportingly. “He was not hesitant at all. In fact, he used to roam around in his boxers on the sets while shooting,” says Vinay.

Sunny, on the other hand, seems excited about his character when he says, “When I am in character, I love doing everything. I love wearing boxers. The character is so fresh, unlike me in my other films.”

Produced by T-Series, the film stars Kangna Ranaut as the female lead. It is a story about the events between two people in a span of two days over the New Year’s Eve. The film will hit theatres on April 26.
