Film-maker Bhushan Kumar’s upcoming adult thriller that stars Karan Singh Grover and Sharman Joshi, and producer Pritish Nandy’s adult comedy that stars Sunny Leone, were set to release on the same day in December. However, the friendship between the two producers has helped avert a box-office clash between the films.

Apparently, Bhushan spoke to Pritish recently, and requested him to push the release date of his film. “Both the movies were supposed to release on December 4. But, the clash has been averted. While Bhushan’s film will release as per schedule, the Sunny-starrer, which also features Tusshar Kapoor, Vir Das and Riteish Deshmukh, will now release in mid-January next year,” says a source.

Apparently, the makers wanted to avoid the clash to ensure that one film did not affect the box-office collections of the other. “Since both the movies are of the same genre, they would have affected each other’s revenues. Bhushan and Pritish are good friends, and they really respect each other. So, the latter obliged the former’s request,” says the source.
