Vicky, who is currently shooting for the Dutt biopic, shares that it was his dream to work with director Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir.

“It’s a special film. It was a dream to work with Raju sir. So when I was approached for the role, I was more than happy to take it up. He is one of the most humble people I have met. As an actor, I am learning so much while working with him,” says Vicky, who has worked in films such as Masaan (2015), Bombay Velvet (2015), Zubaan (2016) and Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016).

Vicky also can’t stop praising his co-star Ranbir and says that he is an extremely talented actor. “Ranbir is a chilled out guy. He is a secured actor, who knows what the director wants from him. He does his homework well. When I see him working, I feel he is such a hardworking individual, who gives his heart and soul to whatever he does, and you can see it on the screen,” adds the actor.

However, Vicky is tight-lipped about his character in the film. “I can’t talk about it much [about it] except that my role is important to the plot,” he adds. Reportedly, Vicky will shake a leg with Ranbir in the film, which will be released on March 30, 2018.

The untitled biopic also features actors Dia Mirza as Maanyata Dutt [Dutt’s wife], Manisha Koirala as Nargis Dutt and Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt.
