"We are organising a two-day literary festival in tribal and regional languages of Jammu and Kashmir under the theme of 'Remembering Tagore' here from tomorrow to celebrate 150th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore," Tribal Research and Cultural Foundation (TRCF) Secretary Dr Javaid Rahi told reporters here today.
This maiden event will be held to disseminate the message and philosophy of Tagore in local languages of the state, he said.
Rahi said that around one hundred writers, poets, intellectuals representing seven major tribal and regional languages of the state are taking part in this composite literary extravaganza supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
