NEW DELHI: Tata Power’s consolidated profit plunged 76% to 72.49 crore for the quarter ended June 30, on account of a one-time regulatory expense of 272 crore and forex losses of 160 crore. However, in a statement, the company said: “PAT stood at 72 crore mainly due to one-off items as well as first-time impact on account of Indian Accounting Standards.
