Company secretaries not involved in Satyam fraud: ICSI

Without naming Jayaraman, ICSI president Vinayak S Khanvalkar told reporters in Hyderabad on Saturday that "we investigated the role of the company secretary as well as the practising company secretary associated with Satyam but did not find anything against them."
A core group formed by ICSI has found nothing against Jayaraman or the practising company secretary, he said adding
the interesting thing is that the Jayaraman is continuing with the new management (Mahindra Satyam).
The SFIO in its seven complaints filed at the special court here has named Jayaraman as an accused along with
Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju for perpetrating the multi-crore financial fraud.
