PepsiCo’s licensing and merchandising programme is launching in India through an agreement with License India.

Sally Barnes, head, Pepsi licensing programme in India and vice-president, License India (a subsidiary of Franchise India Holdings Ltd.), said, “Pepsi is an iconic brand that associates strongly with the Indian youth. It can easily be extended as a lifestyle fashion brand.”

“Prices would range between Rs 200 and Rs 1,000-plus depending on the product. These will be affordable, aspirational products. Imagine a pair of Pepsi sports shoes available at Rs 1,000 where a pair of Nike sports shoes comes for around Rs 4,000,” Barnes said.
