Noodles, baby-care products, fitness apparel: Ramdev’s FMCG asana

Baba Ramdev-led Patanjali Ayurved, which launched Atta Noodles on Monday, is planning to launch a range of baby-care products ‘Shishu Care’ and Khadi fitness apparel range ‘Vastram’ to take on big multinationals.

Baba Ramdev-led Patanjali Ayurved, which launched Atta Noodles on Monday, is planning to launch a range of baby-care products ‘Shishu Care’ and Khadi fitness apparel range ‘Vastram’ to take on big multinationals.

Patanjali Ayurved, set up in 2006, clocked a turnover of Rs 1,195 cr in 2013-14 and posted a net profit of Rs 155 cr.

The company has planned to setup five manufacturing plants in one year. It will also start airing TV commercials for new products soon.
