Kela is Rel Cap’s chief investment strategist

Reliance Capital on Friday appointed star fund manager and head of equities at Reliance Mutual Fund Madhusudan Kela as chief investment strategist.

Reliance Capital on Friday appointed star fund manager and head of equities at Reliance Mutual Fund Madhusudan Kela as chief investment strategist. Kela will work towards expanding the company’s business, besides providing strategic inputs on investments across various businesses.

“We want to capture the masses by strengthening our local team,” said Kela, who will move into his new role beginning September 21.

Speaking to HT, Kela expressed caution about the stock market in the short term as it was mostly driven by the FII flows. “In case a bad news comes globally, we may see a outflow of funds. However, in the long term I am very bullish.”
