Ministry seeks time to respond to RIL
In its first official response to RIL over the latter’s notice of arbitration to the government in the KG-D6 block, the ministry of petroleum and natural gas has sought time till January end to respond to the issue.

In its first official response to RIL over the latter’s notice of arbitration to the government in the KG-D6 block, the ministry of petroleum and natural gas has sought time till January end to respond to the issue.
“We have been informed by your advocate and solicitor (on November 23) that you intend to commence arbitration in block KG-D6. The matter is under consideration and the ministry needs more time to respond on the issue and would do so by 31 January 2012,” the ministry told RIL in its letter dated December 21.
