The IT industry in the country was "mature" enough to resist such undesirable practices and poaching on the customer base of Satyam, whose business continuity needs to be ensured, Nasscom President Ganesh Natarajan told PTI in Pune. He advised the IT industry body members to desist from making "unsolicited offers" to Satyam's customers. The government had taken the right steps in the matter and the Nasscom was hopeful that the new board with proven track record of its directors would restore credibility of Satyam by taking care of the liquidity aspect and uninterrupted business schedules, Natarajan said. It was important to ensure that in the outsourcing, customers did not lose their faith in Indian companies, he stressed.
