NMDC Q4 net profit up 4.34 pc to Rs 1,065 cr
Iron ore producer NMDC today posted a growth of 4.34 per cent in its net profit at Rs 1,065.59 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2010, compared to the same period last fiscal.

Iron ore producer NMDC today posted a growth of 4.34 per cent in its net profit at Rs 1,065.59 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2010, compared to the same period last fiscal.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 1,983.33 crore in the quarter ended March 2010, from Rs 1,936.06 crore in the same period a year ago, NMDC said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The board of directors has proposed a final dividend of Rs 1 per equity share on the face value of Rs 1 each to the shareholders.
However, for the year ended March 2010, the company's net profit declined to Rs 3,447.26 crore, down 21 per cent from Rs 4,372.38 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
