Reliance announces roaming at no extra cost

The rates are applicable for all outgoing calls and roaming will be the same as home tariff plan.

Reliance Infocomm Ltd on THursday announced nation wide roaming for all Reliance IndiaMobile (RIM) customers at no extra charge.

The CDMA telephony service provider has said customers can make calls at home tariff plan rate (for which they have subscribed while retaining their home mobile number), the company said in a release here today.

The rates are applicable for all outgoing calls while roaming would be the same as that of customers' home tariff plan, it said.

For receiving home calls while roaming outside their home circle, RIM customers will have to pay only tariff rates that are currently applicable for long distance calls from RIM phones to CDMA mobile phones.
