20 new buses flagged off at ISBT, Sec 43

As many as 20 new midi-air condition (AC) and non-AC buses, purchased under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM) scheme, were flagged off at Inter-state bus terminus (ISBT), Sector 43, on Monday. The buses were flagged off by senior most driver of the CTU in presence of UT secretary, transport, Bhawana Garg.

Out of total 170 buses ordered by the UT, 20 buses have been supplied and rest of the buses will be put on road by the end of the month.

These buses are fitted with electronic gadgets such as cameras, GPS, electronics destination board, electronically control engine and also have Bharat Stage-4 emission norms. These nine metre mid-size buses will provide comfortable travel to passengers.
