25-year-old woman held with 10 gm smack

The UT crime branch nabbed a 25-year-old woman hailing from Patiala for carrying drugs here on Friday. She was identified as Harleen Kaur Gill and was arrested for carrying 10-gm smack.

The UT crime branch nabbed a 25-year-old woman hailing from Patiala for carrying drugs here on Friday.

She was identified as Harleen Kaur Gill and was arrested for carrying 10-gm smack. Gill’s father works as a clerk at a Punjab government organisation. Inspector, crime, Ranjodh Singh, said Gill was into business of event management. She was nabbed by the police from the under bridge dividing Sectors 11 and 15 after a tip-off.

According to the police, Gill is being questioned to know from where she got the contraband and where it was to be supplied.
