After Kasni, Rewari DC and SDM shifted out
A day after it shifted out Gurgaon divisional commissioner Pradeep Kasni for wrongly computing the compensation for land, which was once being acquired for the Manesar Bawal Investment Region (MBIR), the Haryana government on Tuesday transferred Rewari deputy commissioner RC Verma and sub-divisional magistrate, Rewari, Ravinder Yadav.

Additional deputy commissioner, Fatehabad, Yash Garg was posted as Rewari deputy commissioner in place of Verma. HCS officer Munish Nagpal was posted as SDM, Rewari. Both Garg and Nagpal were directed to take over the charges of their new assignment by December 31 forenoon.
Officials said three officers, Kasni, Verma and Yadav were shifted out for wrongly calculating the land compensation, which would have resulted a loss of about `500 crore had the government gone ahead with the acquisition.
