Anil Kumar relieved of duties as UT home secy
UT home secretary Anil Kumar was relieved of his duties on Friday. A 1988-batch officer, Kumar took over as UT home secretary in December 2011.

UT home secretary Anil Kumar was relieved of his duties on Friday. A 1988-batch officer, Kumar took over as UT home secretary in December 2011.
Anurag Agarwal, a 1994-batch Haryana-cadre IAS officer who has been sent on a three-year inter-cadre deputation to AGMUT, will take over from Kumar in a few days.
Agarwal was one of three names suggested by the Haryana government for home secretary, a position which is occupied by an official of the Haryana cadre.
