ATM robbing bid foiled in Manimajra

Some miscreants unsuccessfully tried to break the Axis Bank ATM at Mori Gate, Manimajra, on Tuesday morning.
According to the police, the miscreants managed to break the lower portion of the machine but failed to get money out of it. The accused covered the CCTV camera with tape to hide his identity.
The police said the incident came to light at 7:45 am after a customer went into the kiosk to withdraw money. There was no guard posted at the kiosk.
Meanwhile, the police have asked the bank officials to provide them with the CCTV footage to identify the accused. A case has been registered at the Manimajra police station.
