Life returned to normal in the valley, barring in Baramulla, after a day-long spontaneous strike and protests against anti-Islam movie made in the US.
Shops and business establishments re-opened in Srinagar and adjoining areas this morning and traffic was also plying.
However, in some areas including Habba-Kadal, Jahangir Chowk, Budshah Nagar and Natipora people protested alleging that security forces damaged windowpanes on friday evening after some demonstrators pelted stones.
Business and other activities remained shut in Budshah Nagar, Natipora as the shopkeepers alleged that security forces damaged some shops and windowpanes of Jammu and Kashmir Bank last evening.
Work in government offices and educational institutions were also normal.
However, shops and other business establishments remained closed in north Kashmir's Baramulla town after the stone pelting incidents on Friday.
Life elsewhere in the Kashmir valley was normal.
