Bhagwant Mann the kingpin: SAD

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) general secretary and core committee member Maheshinder Singh Grewal on Monday asked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to take action against its Sangrur MP, Bhagwant Mann, who according to him was the kingpin of the shoe-hurling incident.

“It is becoming clear that the persons involved in the incident were in touch with Bhagwant Mann. By openly getting associated with the incident, the Sangrur MP has proven that he can stoop to any level to fulfil his desire to attempt to degrade his political opponents,” said Grewal.

“Mann is styling himself after great martyr Bhagat Singh. He should list the work done by him rather than playing cheap politics,” Grewal added.

Meanwhile, Mann has rubbished these charges and alleged that the police were naming him at the ruling party’s behest.
