Bhola drug racket: HC refuses to hear Bajwa's plea seeking CBI probe

Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee chief Partap Singh Bajwa on Wednesday withdrew his application seeking CBI probe into the Bhola drug racket case after the Punjab and Haryana high court observed that they do not require assistance of any political party.

The PPCC chief had moved the high court earlier this year, seeking a CBI probe for a fair investigation into the Bhola drug racket case.

Meanwhile, the court also sought details of those against whom CBI has issued red-corner notices, besides, directing the ministry of home affairs to give report on BSF letter seeking fencing of Indo-Pak border.
