In a condolence message, the CM recalled the services by Hansaliwale for the promotion of Sikhism besides propagating the message of love, compassion and brotherhood.
The CM said, "Sant Ajit Singh Hansaliwale would be ever remembered for his unique qualities of humility and benevolence. Badal also prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the godman's followers.
Meanwhile, the deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal also mourned his death and described him as an eminent social reformer who played a proactive role in spreading the Sikh tenets amongst the masses.
